Today, I filled out my SIUE application. I'll just need to have my school counselor make a few finishing touches on it, then I can send it in along with the $30 application fee. Also today, my Hot Topic order came in. It also came with a free 2-track promotional CD. It was from a band called I.R.A.T.E. (Infinite Rebellion Against The Establishment) and was pretty cool. If you're into my sorta music, give them a try. You can download the same two tracks I got on the CD from their website. |

| Whoa! IE Opera = best program ever. It's just like it sounds, a combination between Opera and IE. It has the elite tabbed browsing and it remembers what pages you were browsing if you close it. The only thing it lacks from Opera is the integrated mail. The interface itself looks pretty much just like Opera with an improved GUI and Office-XPish menus. And the IE part of the name comes from its page viewing capabilities, of course. Pages viewed in this browser show up just like they would in IE. This is definitely a must download and my new default web browser. |

Fatal. I was supposed to meet some friends for Breakfast at Perkin's at 6:30 AM, but I overslept. I finally got a chance to install my new drives, so all is good. |

Well, Wal-mart was pretty cool for an orientation. The CBL (Computer Based Learning) part was boring though. I also got my schedule, I'll be working 4-9 most weeknights and 12-5 most weekends. I work 20 hours per week: 4 days a week, 5 hours a night. The days I get off seem to be random. This week I'm off Friday and Saturday. Also, my Newegg package arrived today with my sweet Lite On 16X DVD-ROM and 40x12x48 CD-RW. I also got a couple rounded IDE cables and a rounded floppy connector that I'll put in the new comp when I build it. |
