Good news all around. I forgot to mention that on Tuesday my computer hit the one-month mark regarding uptime. Of course, I restarted it after that. Also, I got the internet connection going again and it seems really fast. I haven't tried downloading a file yet, but I was able to steadily upload a file at about 20 kb/s.

Between two days of school, I got almost 50 of my notecards done already (good thing we weren't doing anything in class). Now I can hopefully finish it up today.

Ugh. Good news and bad news. The good news is that I hooked up the radio and it says I'm getting a very good signal. The bad news, it's not working. 111 said something like they have a couple satellites down and I'm supposed to try back with them tomorrow.

I got about 20 notecards done too... only about 55 more to go... yay... =\ It's a good thing tomorrow's a half day. A very good thing.

Turns out I was off today, though I did go in to pick up my check. Anyway, this sucks. I haven't had internet access for the past two days because my mother forgot to pay the bill (again). Now to get the wireless going, I have to get back in the attic to connect the radio. As soon as I unlazy myself, I'll do that. For the moment, I'm on dialup. Also, I found out that we have a half day of school tomorrow so I'll have some time to work on my research paper hopefully.

I got Metroid Prime along with the Audioslave CD on Tuesday... good stuff. I only wish I had time to play Metroid Prime. :(

Uhh, that didn't go too well. Our first match against Clinton (which I was in), we lost, but it was close. The second match against Meridian (which I wasn't in) didn't turn out so hot, we were owned. Badly. Gah, I hate school. I'm ready to leave for university.

So many things to say... so little time. Metroid Prime is officially released today, but unfortunately Wal-Mart doesn't have it yet. I want that game badly. While I was at Wal-Mart, I picked up my detail tape which shows all the transactions I made on the 15th. (You have to review the detail tape when you get a pink slip.)

In good news, Audioslave's debut album will be coming out tomorrow. I will most definitely pick it up. For those of who you don't know, Audioslave = Rage Against The Machine - their lead singer + Soundgarden's lead singer, Chris Cornell. I wish Rage wouldn't have broken up, but hopefully Chris can live up to their standards.

Tonight is a Scholastic Bowl meet versus Meridian, I think. I'll be playing, we better win.

Last thing of mention is that this week will suck hard. We're doing an eight page research paper in English, and I have to have 75 notecards and 10 sources (only 4 can be internet) done by Monday. So you may be thinking "You have a week to do this, what are you so worried about?" Well, it's hard when you're working 25 hours a week... and yes, I'm working everyday from tomorrow until the day after the notecards are due. This sucks.

I got my first pink slip at work today. Apparently, my register was $20 over on the 15th. =\ Whoever I shorted, I'm sorry.
