Sigh. Vacation is over. School starts up again today. I was able to enjoy the last day of freedom playing Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and Star Wars: Bounty Hunter. I must say that I'm glad I rented MK: DA and SW: BH because I was considering buying them. They were rather disappointing. MK was okay, but it really isn't as good as it was back in the 2D days. It felt kind of stiff. Bounty Hunter felt kind of thrown together and buggy, though there have been plenty worse Star Wars games. I suppose it was decent and the jetpack is really cool. I also watched the first disc of appendices in the extended LotR: FotR set and it was great. Really informative and interesting if you're obsessed with Lord of the Rings like I am. I still need to find time to watch the other disc though. While we're on the subject of LotR, Mayo showed me this picture depicting our doom. Scary, isn't it? ;) |
